CPU-Z
This program is a great, free program for gathering specifications of your motherboard, cpu, memory, etc. This program comes in handy for finding drivers for certain chipsets. You can download CPU-Z from http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php .

I've used this program in several instances especially when you have someone that knows you have a specific knowledge for fixing a computer and when the time comes to format and reinstall and those annoying little times when you don't have a driver install disc this program is excellent to tell you the required information you will need to get the drivers
